Baseball, and a kid who did not fit the mold
I grew up in West Hills, playing baseball and competing at the highest level I could reach. School was another story. I was not a good student, and I knew early that the traditional route was not built for me, so I pushed back against it.
Always tinkering
Teaching myself how technology works
Technology pulled me in before anything else did. I taught myself to code by building my own game mods, and I spent hours tinkering with networks just to understand how they worked and to get a game of Minecraft going with friends.

Getting back up
As a kid I struggled with drug abuse. I do not hide that part of my story, because getting through it taught me the thing I lean on most: you can fall, get back up and keep going.
Leaving the usual path

I dropped out of school to chase being an entrepreneur and make my mark. I started business after business, and they failed. Over and over. Every one taught me something, and I kept going.
Paying for the dream
A minimum-wage job and every paycheck reinvested
I worked a minimum-wage job to fund what I was building. My paychecks went into computers and marketing, not much else.
