How it actually works

Mid-job the customer asks for one more thing, you agree a number standing in their kitchen, and by the final invoice it is a memory two people remember differently. Tell your assistant what was agreed, in your words, and a clean one-page change order comes back: the added work, the price you stated, a date and signature lines. You review the exact text in the chat, and once you say it is good it is emailed to you and filed in your portal, ready to hand over before the ladder moves.
